About Me

Hello, I’m Ceri, and I’m a professional actor- I work in theatre, film, TV, and voice-over. I trained at Drama Centre London, and I have further honed my craft with studies in France and Canada. Beyond my acting work, I work as an acting coach online and  as an accent coach, I’ve led improv workshops for the US Embassy and coached members of the Argentine Senate. My Acting Classes

This term, I’m excited to offer classes in Acting and Intensive Acting for Camera workshops. Perhaps you’ve always been curious about the acting process, want to build confidence, or are simply looking to try something new. I designed these classes specifically for the local expat community. While Buenos Aires offers many courses in Spanish, there’s a shortage of professional training available in English, and I wanted to fill that gap.

My Teaching Philosophy

For me, teaching is incredibly rewarding. I love witnessing those “aha!” moments when a student has a breakthrough. I believe acting is a social activity that thrives on sharing, observation, and reflection. It can’t be learned just from a book; it’s a celebration of storytelling and the human experience.

I come from a rich tradition of acting that spans more than a century, and I feel a great sense of responsibility to pass on that knowledge. Acting is the study of personal creativity, and I approach teaching with generosity and respect for every student.

Important Information

Please note that this term’s courses are designed for native English speakers. I also offer private coaching and, starting next year, I plan to offer workshops for local professional actors who want to work in an English-speaking environment to keep their language skills sharp for future projects abroad.

ACTING FOR CAMERA INTENSIVE 

  • Saturdays, November 22nd AND November 29th from 11am- 2:30pm

  • Cost: $150 USD

  • Duration: 7 hours

  • Location: Palermo Hollywood (Exact location will be given once booked)

ACTING FOR CAMERA INTENSIVE

In Buenos Aires, English-speaking actors are in high demand, with many well-paying opportunities in commercials and other productions. This workshop is your chance to gain the skills and confidence to succeed in this exciting field.

Think of this course as a gym for actors. We’ll focus on the fundamentals, from understanding industry terminology to navigating the audition process. You’ll get hands-on experience, acting on camera while receiving personalized coaching and direction in a supportive environment.

What to Bring:

  • Loose comfortable clothing for physical exercises.
  • An A4 notebook, pencil, and eraser.
  • Please avoid wearing jewelry, perfume, or cologne.

This workshop is limited to a maximum of 10 people to ensure that everyone gets ample time in front of the camera and personalized feedback.

Payment and Cancellation

  • The workshop will be canceled and all payments refunded if there are fewer than two registered students.

Ready to step into the world of acting? This course is your entry point. Designed for complete beginners, we’ll strip away the mystery and dive into the fundamentals of the craft. Over six weeks, you’ll explore a range of techniques, from the spontaneity of improv to the precision of text analysis.

Through practical exercises and scene work, you’ll learn to develop emotional depth and find authenticity in your performance. This is more than just a class; it’s a journey to discover a common language for storytelling and unlock your creative potential.
